Malibu Wines // Off Shoulder Chambray


Finally back in LA from an amazing vacation. I spent this past Saturday at Malibu Wines for a baby shower and the weather was so HOT even the grapes were blistering [total exaggeration]. It was such a festive place with all the old cars [vintage pickup and school bus], flower halos, and live music that it reminded me of Coachella. They even had the cutest boho boutique that had the most colorful pieces and of course the hubby caught me shopping.

Initially I wanted to wear pants and long sleeves but thank goodness I wore this off-the-shoulder dress instead! I got it on sale [OBVIOUSLY!!] for $50. The best part is that it fit like a glove! A-line is my favorite cut for a dress because of how flattering it looks, add an OTS and you've got a winner [another A-line OTS I love—HERE]! The stitch detail and ruffles also make it fun and feminine. The chambray is a great material that matches anything and therefore can be paired with the most colorful accessories.


I decided to go simple with my rattan clutch [round crossbody version—HERE] from J..Crew, it's gorgeous with the leather closure and how it pops beside the chambray dress. I finished the look with nude bare heel sandals that are the best heel height to prevent your feet from aching and also 40% off from the Banana Republic sale going on right now.

Style Tip: I added the rouge lipstick to get the summer look that reminds me of the classy 1940s. The boutique was also selling straw hats that I couldn't help but try on and completed the look, what do you think?!
